James T. Harry, age 95, of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Hospice House, Harrisburg, PA.
Born July 13, 1921, in Delta, PA, he is the son of the late J. Paul and Ida Harry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Patricia, to whom he had been married for 64 years. He is survived by the second love of his life, Vonnie Finney of Camp Hill, PA. Jim is survived by his son and his wife, Pat and Nancy Harry of Camp Hill, grandsons, Ryan and wife, Stephanie of Atlanta, GA, Peter and wife, Jen of Bellwood, PA and three great grandchildren, Christopher, Justice, and Paxton. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty Scarborough of Little Rock, Arkansas and Evelyn and husband, Fred of Camp Hill, PA.
Jim graduated from Susquehanna Township High School, was a World War II veteran and worked for Bell Telephone of PA for 43 years. Retiring in 1982, he spent his summers at his cabin in Pine Grove Furnace. He was a 40 year member of Grace United Methodist Church in Harrisburg and was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist.
A memorial service will be held at Camp Hill United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 23rd at 3 PM with visitation from 2 to 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Camp Hill United Methodist Church Embrace Fund.
