Bereavement, Grief, Support and Healing
“Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak whispers the o’er-fraught heart and bids it break.”
Bereavement is suffering the loss of a loved one, and grief is the normal response to that loss.
The process can be long and difficult. However, it is very natural, very personal
and very powerful.
It is important to remember, that there is no right or wrong way of grieving.
There is only your way; your pace and your style.
You cannot compare your grief to another’s.
Knowledge is power; and we encourage all who grieve and those who wish to support them
to learn all you can about this process.
“Death may have ended your loved one’s life, but it did not end your relationship. The bond you have will continue and endure throughout your lifetime, depending on how you take your memories and your past with you into the future.”
